Overview
Our Raw Yellow Maca Capsules contain 100% yellow maca root powder made from maca roots traditionally grown and harvested on an organic farming co-op in a remote pristine part of the Peruvian Andes. This powder is never heated above 106 degrees F / 40 C in order to preserve nutrients at maximum levels. Like all of our capsules, these contain absolutely no other ingredients – no fillers, flow agents or other ingredients at all.
About Yellow Maca Root
Maca root powder is a beloved part of life in the high Andes and yellow maca is the most common of all colors, making up about 60% of the annual harvest. Yellow Maca has been the most researched of all 3 Maca colors. To date hundreds of studies, all available publicly in the Pubmed database, have found it to be useful for energy building, fertility, hormone balance, mental focus and more. I've tried various maca brands over the last 20 years and The Maca Team brand is very special. There is definitely a difference when it comes to the quality and colors of the maca. This red maca does seem to nourish certain parts of my body while the black maca nourishes something else. I know I've been missing the nutrition these maca provide.
